Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Lead Development Test Technician (Starship Structural Test) on the 1st shift to lead a small team, ensure safety and workmanship, interpret schematics, and support GSE testing activities. You will work with design engineers, maintain high-pressure systems, and develop processes to improve testing reliability.

The role requires hands-on mechanical experience and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalency; 3+ years in industrial settings with high-pressure systems.
• 2+ years assembling large mechanical structures and test stands with forklifts/cranes.
• Experience in aerospace or high-reliability environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team, assign work based on priorities, enforce safety and workmanship standards.
• Serve as liaison between employees and management to solve problems.
• Coach, mentor, and train team members; ensure procedures are followed.
