Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Brownsville, TX seeks a Lead Development Test Technician (Starship Structural Test) on 1st shift. You will guide a small team, assign work, enforce safety and workmanship standards, and clear blockers to keep testing on track.

The role requires hands-on experience with high-pressure pneumatic/hydraulic systems, schematics, and collaboration with design engineers to document GSE/testing activities while supporting site-wide process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 3+ years in industrial piping or high-pressure systems.
• 2+ years assembling large mechanical structures and test stands.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team, assign work based on priorities, enforce safety standards.
• Serve as liaison between employees and management to solve problems.
• Coach, mentor, and train team members.
• Ensure procedures are followed and required licenses obtained.
• Support GSE testing activities and maintain equipment and instrumentation.
• Read and interpret planning documents and schematics.
• Collaborate with design engineers to document testing activities.
