Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Automation & Controls Engineer (Starship) to design, implement, and optimize electrical and control systems for the Starship launch facility at Cape Canaveral.

You will work on PLC code, SCADA infrastructure, and control panels, ensuring NFPA79/NEC compliance and robust operation. You will collaborate with a team of engineers across electrical, software, and manufacturing domains, applying advanced automation techniques to enable reliable, scalable launch capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of instrumentation power systems design, data acquisition, or PLC experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems for Starship launch operations.
• Architect and debug PLC code with maintainable, reusable structure.
• Design and implement controls network and data acquisition interfaces.
