Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for Starlink/ Starmind PCB production in Bastrop, Texas. You will lead state-of-the-art manufacturing processes for PCB production, driving DOE studies, equipment design, and factory ramp to high volumes.

You will collaborate with senior leadership during critical design phases and own projects from conception to deployment, ensuring reliable, scalable processes for high‑volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; 1+ years experience in fluids, mechanical, electromechanical design or analysis.
• Willingness to travel to other SpaceX sites; onsite work required.
• Experience with PCB manufacturing processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain new manufacturing processes and tooling for PCB production.
• Lead DOE to establish stable, robust processes for production handoff.
• Design and install equipment and automation; manage project plans and costs.
