STARBUCKS/BARISTA (Finance)

Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment to ensure the customer's return visit. Treat customers and employees fairly and ethically, promoting an inclusive work environment, being a responsible community member, and providing the right products at the right time with fair and accurate pricing. Responsibilities

1. Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated by answering questions about products within the department and store.
2. Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold and respond to customer inquiries with suggestions.
3. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals.
4. Prepare beverages according to recipes and standards, and handle transactions following company practices.
5. Offer samples and inform customers about specials to enhance their experience.
6. Ensure the freshness and correct portion sizes of products to prevent shrinkage.
7. Recommend products to meet customer needs.
8. Use equipment properly, including refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens, espresso machines, blenders, and scales.
9. Label, stock, and inventory merchandise; report discrepancies.
10. Stay informed about current promotions and specials.
11. Follow safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and report hazards or incidents.
12. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and report repairs.
13. Report accidents, safety risks, or illegal activities to management.
14. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally.
15. Maintain honesty and integrity with customer and business information.
16. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
17. Support customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
