STARBUCKS/LEAD BARISTA (Finance)
Ensure service standards are met and exceeded by providing customers with prompt, quality coffee selection, purchase, and preparation. Monitor overall department conditions and maintain standards. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Minimum Requirements
- Willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly, courteously, and tactfully, making a positive impression on associates and customers.
- Must be a trained and certified barista.

Responsibilities
- Increase sales through effective marketing and merchandising of products.
- Assist in supervising and directing department personnel to ensure quality customer service.
- Delegate job assignments and responsibilities to associates according to duty rosters.
- Order, maintain stock and supplies, and monitor their conditions and appearance.
- Monitor product code dates and rotation, removing out-of-date products.
- Hold personnel accountable for their job responsibilities.
- Prepare department schedules, considering requests, bids, and business needs.
- Assist customers with specialty coffee beverages and whole bean sales.
- Maintain a clean and appealing customer service area and equipment.
- Demonstrate Customer 1st Behavior in all customer interactions.
- Prepare various customer beverage orders, including espresso drinks.
- Adhere to all Starbucks programs, policies, and promotions.
- Follow store policies for operational flow at each station.
- Perform cleaning tasks per standards and work as a team.
- Present oneself professionally with clear communication.
- Perform equipment maintenance as per preventative checklists.
- Follow cash handling and register policies.
- Follow inventory and stock recording guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with customers and staff.
