As a Starbucks Lead Barista, you'll supervise other baristas on duty, assist with taking orders, and craft drinks with a friendly smile and swift precision during busy times. Connected to the newly expanded Baird Center, the Hilton Milwaukee is Milwaukee's largest hotel, offering 729 well-appointed guest rooms and over 34,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Position Details

• Full Time Position
• Pay Range: $15-$16 per hour

Responsibilities

1. Supervise staff in the manager's absence and train new team members.
2. Provide quality beverages consistently for all customers, preparing Starbucks beverages to standard.
3. Maintain cleanliness and condition of the work area.
4. Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing all products.
5. Ensure guest satisfaction; tactfully address any dissatisfaction.
6. Manage cash handling procedures, including receipts, cash drawer, and house bank balancing.
7. Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health standards.

Qualifications

• Previous Barista experience required.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work varied schedules including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to learn menu items and up-selling techniques.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions.
• English proficiency for communication and menu understanding.
• Proficiency with keyboard and Point of Sale procedures.
