STARBUCKS/LEAD BARISTA (Finance)
Ensure service standards are met and surpassed by providing customers with prompt, quality coffee selection, purchase, and preparation. Monitor overall department conditions and maintain standards. Minimum
- Willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Able to calmly, courteously, and tactfully handle stressful situations and make a positive impression on associates and customers.
- Must be a trained and certified barista.

Responsibilities
- Increase sales through effective marketing and merchandising of products.
- Assist in supervising and directing department personnel to ensure quality customer service.
- Delegate job assignments and responsibilities to associates according to duty rosters.
- Order, maintain stock and supplies, and monitor conditions and appearance of stock.
- Monitor product code dates and rotation, removing out-of-date products.
- Hold personnel accountable for their job responsibilities.
- Write and coordinate department schedules based on requests and business needs.
- Assist customers with selection and purchase of specialty coffee beverages and whole beans.
- Maintain a clean and appealing customer service area and equipment.
- Demonstrate Customer 1st Behavior in customer interactions.
- Prepare various customer beverage orders, including espresso drinks and Coffee of the Day.
- Adhere to all Starbucks programs, policies, and promotions (e.g., Customer Voice, Siren's Eye).
- Follow store policies for operational flow at each station.
- Perform cleaning tasks per standards and work collaboratively as part of the team.
- Present professionally and communicate clearly with customers and partners.
- Perform equipment maintenance as per preventative checklist.
- Follow cash handling and register policies.
- Follow inventory stocking and recording procedures.
- Communicate effectively with customers and staff.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, tact, and courtesy in all interactions.
- Adhere to company policies on dress code, grooming, sanitation, and harassment-free environment.
