CarePlus NJ Inc is seeking a Program Manager for our STAR Program. You will oversee operations, hire staff, assess training needs, supervise staff, and support clients on the path to wellness.

Based in Passaic and Morris with on-site work Mon-Fri 9-5 and monthly travel to STAR sites, you will lead Case Managers, Peer Recovery Specialists, and Therapists to deliver integrated services in a dynamic behavioral health environment.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field as required by program regulations & standards.
• Must possess one or a combination of the following: LCADC (with CCS), LCSW with Clinical Supervision Certificate, or LPC with supervisory experience (with ACS).
• At least 3 years of demonstrated professional experience providing clinical services to diverse populations, including crisis response/risk assessment and substance use.
• Must have a valid driver's license and must be insurable by agency's automobile insurance.

Salary: $72,000.

Job Summary

As a Program Manager in our STAR Program, you will oversee the overall operation of program, including hiring staff, assessing training needs, providing direct supervision and termination of staff. Work alongside Addiction Recovery Services leadership to oversee the operational and strategic aspects of service delivery. Lead, supervise, and guide our diverse staff, including Case Managers, Peer Recovery Specialists, and Therapists, and directly aid in our client's recovery to wellness.

What You Will Do

• Provide direct supervision to assigned staff to enhance their skills sets, leadership qualities and administrative functions
• Provide ongoing support to staff to ensure completion of job responsibilities
• Oversee the program's day-to-day operations (i.e. hiring and evaluating of staff, scheduling of adequate coverage, overseeing customer service response, clinical documentation, triage procedures, workflow design, and task assignments)
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the agency's policies, applicable laws, and governmental regulatory agencies
• Evaluate staff productivity and documentation of service delivery
• Assist client with concrete services and advocacy, interface with other systems on behalf of client, provide, engage in inter-organizational care coordination, and follow up on referrals when indicated by initial and ongoing assessment
• Assist with problem-solving for individual and family member treatment and supportive interventions
• Provide educational/supportive group presentations and discussions with clients and/or family members focused on mental illness, chemical dependency/addictions, and/or dual diagnosis

What We Need to See

• Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field as required by program regulations & standards.
