Job summary

FCC Behavioral Health is seeking a STAR Director in Poplar Bluff, MO, to supervise the Clinical Manager and guide day-to-day operations of the program. You will lead strategic planning, ensure program performance, and foster effective team collaboration to improve clinical care and access.

The role requires active involvement in governance, chart audits, PQI meetings, and community engagement to strengthen the program and agency culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of experience working in a Community Psychiatric Rehabilitation program at FCC Behavioral Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of the day-to-day operations of the program. Provide coverage of the day-to-day operations or other program area needs, when necessary.
• Develop the program’s annual plan with input from the Clinical Manager and program staff. Present the plan to the Executive Team on an annual basis. Assist with the implementation of approved plans (Strategic Plan related to clinical care) and ensure follow-through.
• Meet with the Clinical Manager on a regular basis to discuss treatment access, efficiency, effectiveness, and experience; brainstorm and implement improvements as needed.
• Communicate issues and concerns, provide feedback and recommendations to the program’s Clinical Officer regularly.
• Ensure program staff attend committee meetings and communicate information to the program.
• Actively seek and manage stakeholder feedback to inform practices and business operations.
• Participate in community events/activities and local meetings to build positive relationships.
• Work with the Clinical Manager on plans to improve the program and agency culture and environment.
• Oversee program outcomes and address issues in coordination with the Clinical Manager.
