FCC Behavioral Health invites applications for the STAR Director - Youth STAR North (Outlying) position based in Piedmont, MO. The Director supervises the Clinical Manager and staff, guiding day-to-day operations and strategic planning for the program within the THRIVE/STAR/BHC framework.

The role emphasizes oversight of clinical care, staff supervision, stakeholder communication, and continuous program improvement to maintain high-quality psychiatric rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of experience working in a Community Psychiatric Rehabilitation program at FCC Behavioral Health

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of the day-to-day operations of the program. Provide coverage of the day-to-day operations or other program area needs, when necessary.
• Develop the program’s annual plan with input from the Clinical Manager and program staff. Present the plan to the Executive Team on an annual basis. Assist with the implementation of approved plans and ensure follow-through.
• Meet with the Clinical Manager regularly to discuss treatment access, efficiency, effectiveness, and experience. Develop plans to improve these areas as needed.
• Communicate issues and concerns to the program’s Clinical Officer. Provide feedback and recommendations.
• Ensure staff attend committee meetings and communicate information to the team.
• Seek stakeholder feedback to inform practices and business operations. Address issues identified.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and PQI and Program/Department meetings.
• Review monthly financial reports with the Clinical Manager and Clinical Officer and discuss profitability plans.
• Oversee chart audits and ensure issues are addressed and followed up.
