Job summary

MiTek, a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks an entry-level manufacturing technician in Tolleson, AZ. You will set up machinery, prepare stamping dies, and perform basic troubleshooting to keep production on schedule.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, monitoring presses and tooling, and complying with safety instructions. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 1–3 months related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Effective communication with coworkers and management regarding work and safety issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery for manufacturing.
• Set up stamping dies in presses; perform tooling changes per schedule.
• Perform simple troubleshooting and die/tool repairs to keep production on schedule.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and monitor systems for proper operation.
• Attend scheduled shift, including potential overtime as required.
