Job summary

MiTek Industries in Tolleson, AZ seeks an experienced Die Setup Technician to support stamping operations. You will perform die setup, die changeovers, tooling maintenance, and troubleshoot forming and progression issues to keep dies production-ready for schedules.

You’ll work with die setters, planners and management to ensure dies run as planned, maintain safety and quality, and train others as needed. This is hands-on and overtime-eligible.

Qualifications

• Must pass safety policies and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in work.
• Meets productivity standards while preserving quality.
• Willing to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Change components inside the die as required.
• Remove and install die sections and perform tool sharpening with the team.
• Troubleshoot forming, punch, and progression issues.
• Perform tooling changes per schedules and preventative maintenance.
• Assemble components per documentation to tight tolerances.
• Verify correct die per customer specification and respond to nonconforming parts.
• Complete die set-up check sheets and develop die process sheets.
• Train others and support die setters as workload allows.
