Job summary

MiTek, Tolleson, AZ, is seeking an experienced Die Setup Technician to support stamping operations. You will set up dies, handle changeovers, perform maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure dies are production-ready to meet schedules.

Responsibilities include verifying specifications, training others, and coordinating with planners to keep runs on track while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety policies and participate in safety trainings.
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness while meeting productivity standards.
• Willing to work overtime when needed to reach goals.
• Interact professionally with co-workers, vendors and customers.
• Take responsibility and commit to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Change components inside the die.
• Remove and install die sections.
• Troubleshoot forming, punch and progression issues.
• Perform tooling changes according to schedules.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Verify dies match customer specifications.
• Train others as needed.
• Monitor press, tooling and secondary systems during manufacturing.
• Work with planners and schedulers to ensure dies are ready to run.
• Attend scheduled shifts and overtime as required.
