selfpublishing.com is hiring a Speaker & Sales Representative to represent us at live events (6–20 annually) and drive sales as an SDR, business development rep, or sales rep. The role centers on presenting our mission on stage and enrolling new authors, with travel and in-person engagement at Austin-area events.

You should have 3+ years of top sales performance, a proven quota track record, and experience speaking publicly.

Qualifications

• Experience speaking or presenting at live events.
• 3+ years of top performing sales experience.
• Track record of hitting or beating quota.
• Strong CRM and sales process proficiency.
• Willingness to travel 6 to 20 times per year.
• Living within 30 minutes of Westlake, Austin.

Responsibilities

• Speak and sell at live events; travel to 6 to 20 events per year.
• Own the room with high-energy, on-stage presentations.
• Drive sales between events by booking strategy sessions, partnerships, or closings.
• Understand each aspiring author’s goals and recommend programs.
• Track results using CRM and proven sales systems.
• Collaborate with a mission-driven sales and marketing team.
