Job summary

selfpublishing.com is seeking a Speaker & Sales Representative to represent our mission at live events in Austin and nationwide. You will speak from stage at 6 to 20 events per year and enroll new authors, while also driving sales as an SDR, business development rep, or sales rep.

This full-time, in-office role requires travel, a proven sales track record, and strong CRM skills. Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $150,000+ annually with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of top performing sales experience.
• A track record of hitting or beating quota.

• Living within 30 minutes of Westlake, Austin.

As our Speaker & Sales Representative, you'll represent selfpublishing.com on stage at 6 to 20 live events per year, sharing our mission and enrolling new authors. Speaking will make up 20% to 50% of your role. The rest of your time, you'll drive sales for us as an SDR, business development rep, or sales rep, depending on your skillset.

What You Bring

• Experience speaking or presenting at live events
• 3+ years of top performing sales experience
• A track record of hitting or beating quota
• Strong CRM and sales process proficiency
• Willingness to travel 6 to 20 times per year
• Living within 30 minutes of Westlake, Austin

Bonus Points If You Have

• 5+ years of high performance sales experience
• $1M+ in total lifetime sales
• Experience with high volume, low ticket sales ($5K or less, short sales cycles)
• Experience as a paid or featured speaker at conferences or events

Compensation & Benefits

• On target earnings: $80,000 to $150,000+ annually
• Base pay: $35,000 to $50,000, plus incentive compensation
• Proven pay structure: Same compensation model as our sales team, so your earnings grow directly with your results

Location & Hours

This is a full time, in office role (45+ hours a week) based at our Austin, TX headquarters, with travel to 6 to 20 events per year.
