Job summary

ACL Live in Austin, TX seeks an experienced Stage Manager to support production across Moody Theater and 3TEN venues. You will coordinate technical production equipment, staff needs and schedules with touring artists and clients to create world-class experiences.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in show production or stage management, strong communication skills, and a flexible schedule to cover evenings and weekends for events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years experience in show production, lighting or stage training.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and long hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with artist teams and event clients on schedules and technical requirements to advance shows and events.
• Provide onsite production supervision during assigned events and manage load-in, rehearsals, performances, and load-out.
• Coordinate site visits, day-of-show schedules and technical requirements with internal and external partners.
• Communicate equipment needs with artists and bands; plan events within production and labor budgets.
• Source equipment and services within budget and contractual agreements; coordinate backline, audio, lighting, video, set pieces, and other production elements.
• Track production expenses; compile final reports and settlements for billing.
• Identify, respond to and mitigate advancement issues that could impact event success or safety.
• Coordinate downtown parking, truck parking and loading/unloading operations; ensure equipment moves efficiently.
• Ensure all equipment is used safely per industry standards from load-in through load-out.
• Uphold corporate standards, guidelines, policies and procedures and maintain personal integrity.
