The Concourse Project in Austin is seeking a Senior Production Manager to oversee all technical and production elements of shows from advance to load-out.

You will lead crews, coordinate vendors, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time show execution across lighting, audio, video, and staging in a high-energy live venue setting.

This role requires exceptional problem-solving, strong communication, and a track record managing large-scale electronic music productions.

Qualifications

• Ideally 10+ years in live event production and leadership.
• Experience advancing shows with touring artists and promoters.
• Strong knowledge of professional audio, lighting, and stage systems.
• Proven ability to manage crews in high-capacity venues or festivals.
• Excellent troubleshooting and decision-making under pressure.
• Ability to read and interpret technical riders and stage plots.
• Availability for nights, weekends, and late hours.

Responsibilities

• Advance all shows with tour production teams, promoters, and artist representatives.
• Review technical riders, stage plots, and input lists to plan resources.
• Confirm staffing, gear, power needs, and production timelines.
• Oversee load-in, soundcheck, show execution, and load-out.
• Serve as primary contact for touring production managers and FOH engineers.
• Supervise audio, lighting, video, and stage crews.
• Ensure safety standards and venue policies are followed.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in real time.
• Manage in-house staff and coordinate third-party vendors.
• Allocate crew based on show scale and tech complexity.
• Maintain equipment inventory and oversee maintenance.
• Build production budgets and approve labor and vendor invoices.
• Collaborate with other departments for cohesive show flow.
• Document production notes and continuously improve processes.
