Job summary

Northwell Career Site is seeking a payroll and staffing coordinator to analyze, verify, track and report employee schedules to ensure proper staffing for patient care. The role involves developing schedules for nurses and other staff in staffing software, monitoring timekeeping, and assisting with payroll and utilization reports.

Under supervision, you will prepare time utilization, turnover and attendance reports, partnering with team leaders and HR Payroll.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience required.
• UKG timekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, verify, track and report employee schedules; prepare time utilization reports.
• Develop schedules for nurses, aides, therapists and other staff in staffing software.
• Identify daily payroll cost-saving opportunities and adjust schedules accordingly.
• Monitor clock-in/clock-out, notify management of absences, and process payroll data.
• Prepare monthly turnover, vacancy, attendance and other HR reports.
• Collaborate with team leaders to ensure accurate position control and licenses.
• Assist with staff orientation and training within staffing department.
• Act as liaison between departments and HR Payroll.
