Job summary

Nicklaushealth is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to manage workforce coverage across all shifts. The role involves close collaboration with Nursing Leaders to ensure adequate staffing for quality care, 24/7. You will handle scheduling, payroll-related adjustments, and internal communications to keep operations running smoothly.

The candidate will record pay practices, monitor acuity, and maintain confidential employee information while supporting multiple departments to meet staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Previous clerical experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Staffing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of TM&E & pay policies.

Responsibilities

• Staffing to ensure 24-hour coverage in collaboration with Leaders.
• Record staffing and nursing pay practices in a computerized system (Clarivia/Kronos).
• Assess staffing needs on a daily/weekly/shifting basis.
• Answer employee calls regarding staffing/scheduling functions.
• Prepare staffing and communicate with Leaders for decisions.
• Communicate shortages/overages/changes to Leaders and staff.
