Job summary

Fundamental Staffing is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to align nursing staffing with patient needs and budgets. You will build master schedules, ensure proper staffing ratios, and verify time records in collaboration with HR/Payroll. The role prioritizes accuracy, organization, and speed in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring knowledge of staffing processes, a high school diploma or GED, and Kronos proficiency. CNA certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
• Must have knowledge of staffing and orientation schedules.
• Current CNA Certification preferred, not required.
• Must be detail oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Kronos experience strongly preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the staffing needs of the facility for a defined resident/patient population and time frame and maintaining accurate records related to the staffing of the nursing department.
• Creates a master schedule, adequately staffs the facility’s nursing units according to budgeted hours per patient day and budgeted staffing ratio.
• Makes the daily schedules for the nursing department and coordinating with the HR/Payroll coordinator to ensure that appropriate time records are kept.
• Updates schedule daily as needed.
