Qualifications

• Experience as Staffing Coordinator/Director in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to build strong relationships and gain staff support.
• Superior organization skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible and able to handle stress, change and unexpected occurrences.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars.
• Complete nursing schedules and coordinate requests to ensure unit coverage.
• Consult with Nursing Department staff regarding staffing and scheduling needs.
• Assist employees with Time Request Forms and timely completion.
• Notify employees via phone, email or text to keep schedules up to date.
• Respond to staffing and scheduling questions from employees.
