Job summary

Blue Springs Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a Staffing Coordinator / CMT to support our nursing team by organizing daily and weekly staff schedules and coordinating staffing needs to ensure high-quality resident care.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, calmness under pressure, and the ability to work behind the scenes to maintain smooth operations in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in Missouri
• Active Certified Medication Technician certification in Missouri
• Experience in staffing, scheduling, or healthcare coordination is strongly preferred
• Experience in long-term care or healthcare is strongly preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and manage daily and weekly staff schedules
• Ensure adequate staffing levels in compliance with facility and state requirements
• Coordinate with nursing leadership to fill open shifts
• Communicate schedule changes clearly and professionally
• Track attendance, call-offs, and time-off requests
• Assist with staffing reports and agency usage as needed
