Job summary

Seminole Care & Rehab in Oklahoma seeks a compassionate Staffing Coordinator (CMT) to support scheduling and staffing for resident care teams in a long-term care setting. You will maintain contact information, assist with timekeeping, and coordinate nurse schedules to ensure adequate coverage across units.

Responsibilities include updating department contacts, monitoring tardiness and absenteeism, and assisting with HR processes.

Qualifications

• CNA and CMA licenses for Oklahoma required.
• Experience scheduling, staffing, screening and selecting candidates in long-term care preferred.
• Must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Strong communication, professionalism and relationship management; maintains confidentiality.

• Maintain current listing of resident care employee phone numbers.
• Update business office with department managers' phone numbers.
• Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars.
• Report to DON all employees with excess tardiness or absenteeism.
• Coordinate scheduling of modified work duty employees with HR/DON.
• Complete nursing department employee records upon hiring, reclassification and discharge.
• Assist employees with forms related to scheduling and staffing.
• Coordinate monthly nursing schedules to ensure unit coverage.
• Post work sheets/time schedules and coordinate variances with DON.
• Assist in completing designated reports per policies and procedures.
• Accepts other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions of Staffing Coordinator (CMT)

• Maintain a current listing of all resident care employee phone numbers.
• Update business office with current posting of all department managers' phone numbers.
• Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars.
• Report to Director of Nursing (DON) all employees with excess tardiness or absenteeism in accordance with the center policy.
• Work with Human Resources (HR) and Director of Nursing (DON) when scheduling modified work duty employees in accordance with work restrictions and center policy.
• Complete in timely fashion necessary nursing department employee records upon hiring, job reclassification and discharge.
• Assist employees in accurate completion of forms (i.e., leave and day off requests, time cards, etc.) pertinent to scheduling and staffing.
• Complete monthly nursing schedule coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage of units.
• Complete and post work sheets/time schedules.
• Coordinate variances with Director of Nursing (DON).
• Assist in completions and filings of designated reports in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Accepts other duties as assigned.

Qualifications of Staffing Coordinator (CMT)

• CNA and CMA license for the state of Oklahoma is required
• Prior experience scheduling, staffing, screening, and selecting job candidates in various clinical roles within a long-term care setting is preferred.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Communication, Professionalism, Ethical Practice, Relationship Management.
• Maintain Confidentiality
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Thorough and detail-oriented organization and management skills are highly desired.
