Job summary

Seminole Care & Rehab in Seminole, OK is seeking a Staffing Coordinator (CMT) to support our nursing team in delivering exceptional resident care. This full-time role focuses on scheduling, attendance tracking, and communication across departments to ensure adequate coverage.

You will work with the DON, HR, and department managers to maintain accurate records, manage tardiness, and process staffing changes, while benefiting from PTO, holidays, tuition reimbursement, 401(k), and comprehensive

Qualifications

• CNA and CMA license for Oklahoma required.
• Experience scheduling and staffing in long-term care preferred.
• Must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Strong communication, professionalism, ethics and relationship management are essential.
• Read, write and speak English; thorough and detail-oriented organization expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a current listing of all resident care employee phone numbers.
• Update business office with current posting of all department managers' phone numbers.
• Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars.
• Report to DON all employees with excess tardiness or absenteeism.
• Coordinate with HR and DON on scheduling modified work duties per center policy.
• Complete nursing department employee records upon hiring, reclassification and discharge.
• Assist employees in completing forms (leave requests, time cards, etc.) for scheduling.
• Prepare and post monthly nursing schedules to ensure coverage.
• Coordinate variances with DON.
• Assist in completion and filing of designated reports per policy.
• Accept other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions of Staffing Coordinator (CMT):

• Maintain a current listing of all resident care employee phone numbers.
• Update business office with current posting of all department managers' phone numbers.
• Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars.
• Report to Director of Nursing (DON) all employees with excess tardiness or absenteeism in accordance with the center policy.
• Work with Human Resources (HR) and Director of Nursing (DON) when scheduling modified work duty employees in accordance with work restrictions and center policy.
• Complete in timely fashion necessary nursing department employee records upon hiring, job reclassification and discharge.
• Assist employees in accurate completion of forms (i.e., leave and day off requests, time cards, etc.) pertinent to scheduling and staffing.
• Complete monthly nursing schedule coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage of units.
• Complete and post work sheets/time schedules.
• Coordinate variances with Director of Nursing (DON).
• Assist in completions and filings of designated reports in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Accepts other duties as assigned.

Qualifications of Staffing Coordinator (CMT):

• CNA and CMA license for the state of Oklahoma is required
• Prior experience scheduling, staffing, screening, and selecting job candidates in various clinical roles within a long-term care setting is preferred.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Communication, Professionalism, Ethical Practice, Relationship Management.
• Maintain Confidentiality
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Thorough and detail-oriented organization and management skills are highly desired.
