Join to apply for the Staffing Coordinator role at AristaCare Health Services.

As a Staffing Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all units are staffed appropriately according to census and acuities in accordance with applicable federal guidelines for staffing.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Plan, organize and implement a sustainable staffing strategy
  2. Ensure daily staffing for the Nursing Department
  3. Monitor staffing needs and take actions to ensure coverage for callouts
  4. Work with staffing agencies as needed
  5. Identify hard-to-fill roles and take proactive actions
  6. Assist in candidate screening and interviewing
  7. Assist with new employee orientation
  8. Design and plan work shift schedules
  9. Assist with timekeeping for payroll
  10. Create, present, and submit reports to management
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as a Staffing Coordinator or similar role
  • At least 1 year of long-term care facility experience
  • Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
