Qualifications

Work Shift: Primarily days with possible weekends/evenings/holidays (United States of America)

Hendricks Community Hospital Association is seeking a qualified individual to join our team!

Position Highlights

Perform professional assessments and coordinate care for residents. Provide supervision, scheduling, direction, and education to CNA staff. Oversee the operation of assigned staff to ensure quality care. Availability for flexible hours as needed.

Starting hourly wage is $22.30, based on experience. Weekend and shift differentials available.

Qualifications:
  • Certified Nursing Assistant with Medication Aid training and active certification in Minnesota, or a graduate of an accredited nursing school licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Minnesota.
  • Experience in geriatric healthcare.
  • Strong leadership, initiative, and judgment skills.
  • Experience with computer programs, including Microsoft Office and clinical documentation software preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize activities to meet resident needs per physician instructions and administrative procedures.
  • Develop and maintain staff schedules for RN, LPN, TMA, and CNA staff.
  • Interview, select, and evaluate CNA staff performance for professional development.
  • Maintain written job descriptions and orientation plans for supervised positions.
  • Assist in staffing during day and upcoming shifts.
  • Participate in weekend and holiday call rotation.
  • Provide direct supervision to CNA and TMA employees, monitor care, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Complete performance appraisals for CNA staff at least annually.
  • Consult with the DON on care and performance issues, and interpret policies.
  • Coordinate orientation and in-service training, and participate in educational programs.
  • Conduct CNA staff meetings regularly.
  • Participate in QAPI and Risk Management activities.
  • Engage in Interdisciplinary Team processes and communicate outcomes to staff.
