Job summary

Sycamorespring of Miamisburg is seeking a Full Time Staffing Coordinator to support the nursing department with scheduling and staffing for the care units. You will serve as a direct line of communication with the DON regarding staffing, census, and attendance.

We welcome an LPN or RN to fulfill this role, with duties including biweekly scheduling, onboarding assistance, and ongoing education tracking. Daily Pay, flexible shifts, and competitive wages accompany this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manages the nursing schedule and daily flow sheets to promote proper balance of the schedule.
• Formulates biweekly schedule with nursing leadership guidance, considering vacations and requested days off.
• Receives call-offs during working hours and directs them to nursing leadership as needed.
• Completes personal request forms for birthdays, vacations and leaves of absence; updates data for scheduling.
• Assists new nursing personnel with computer orientation as needed.
• Attends staff meetings monthly and PRN departmental meetings.
• Assists with onboarding and hiring as needed.
• Monitors required 12 hours continuing education and documentation.

Description

The Full Time Staffing Coordinator assists the nursing department with scheduling and staffing for the nursing care units. Performs duties and provides a direct line of communication with the DON regarding staffing, census, employee attendance and behavior problems. Works closely with the Retention Hiring Coordinator on open schedules, upcoming needs to always be recruiting as an integral part of staffing. Looking for an LPN or RN to fulfill this role.

PAY RATE:

LPN: $27.50 - $31.00 depending on licensure and experience

RN: $32.00 - $38.00 depending on licensure and experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proactively manages the nursing schedule and daily flow sheets to promote proper balance of the schedule.
• Formulates biweekly schedule with nursing leadership guidance, taking into consideration vacations, requested days off, birthdays and personal days for each employee. Maintains a Holiday, On-call and MDS schedule.
• Receives calls offs during the working hours and directs them to nursing leadership as needed call off during working hours
• Receives and completes personal request forms, birthday, vacation and leaves of absences; change of status, change of data are filled out by employee and noted for scheduling by staffing coordinator
• Assists new nursing personnel as directed by the DON for computer orientation as needed
• Attends staff meetings monthly and professional nursing and departmental staff meeting on a PRN basis.
• Assists with the onboarding and hiring as needed
• Monitors the required 12 hours continuing education for completion and computer documentation thereof.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Requires licensure in the state the facility is located
• Excellent communication skills, especially in the area of confrontation management.
• Must establish strong organizational skills to provide consistency and fairness with maintaining company policy
