The Full Time Staffing Coordinator at Sycamorespring of Miamisburg coordinates nursing schedules and staffing for the nursing care units, reporting to the DON. Qualifications

• Requires licensure in the state the facility is located.
• Excellent communication skills, especially in the area of confrontation management.
• Must establish strong organizational skills to provide consistency and fairness with maintaining company policy.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manages the nursing schedule and daily flow sheets to promote proper balance of the schedule.
• Forms biweekly schedule with nursing leadership guidance, taking into consideration vacations, requested days off, birthdays and personal days for each employee. Maintains a Holiday, On-call and MDS schedule.
• Receives calls offs during the working hours and directs them to nursing leadership as needed call off during working hours
• Receives and completes personal request forms, birthday, vacation and leaves of absences; change of status, change of data are filled out by employee and noted for scheduling by staffing coordinator
• Assists new nursing personnel as directed by the DON for computer orientation as needed
• Attends staff meetings monthly and professional nursing and departmental staff meeting on a PRN basis.
• Assists with the onboarding and hiring as needed
• Monitors the required 12 hours continuing education for completion and computer documentation thereof.
