Staffing Coordinator (Healthcare)
We are looking for a
Staffing Coordinator to be a part of our work family. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility's nursing department to meet residents' needs, considering the budget, census, and directives from facility administration.
Job Description:
- Assist in maintaining a current listing of all resident care employee phone numbers.
- Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources Director and DNS to schedule employees with modified work duties according to work restrictions and facility policies.
- Complete necessary nursing department employee records promptly during hiring, reclassification, or discharge.
- Assist employees in accurately completing forms related to scheduling and staffing, such as leave requests, day off requests, and time cards.
- Respond to employee calls regarding staffing and scheduling, and prepare written correspondence as needed.
- Answer applicant inquiries about position availability and coordinate interviews appropriately.
