Job summary

You will collaborate with Unit Managers and nursing leadership to fill open shifts, optimize coverage, and address gaps. A high school diploma is required, and healthcare staffing experience is preferred.

The Staffing Coordinator develops and regularly updates comprehensive stafing schedules, including four-week master schedules for the nursing department. Maintains all nursing schedule patterns and assigned shifts with the approved electronic scheduling software, ensuring timely updates to reflect current staffing plans. Work closely with Unit Managers and other nursing leadership to proactively fill open shifts and address scheduling gaps.

Prerequisites and preferred skills:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience in healthcare staff planning is preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
