Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking a Staff Workforce Engineer to set engineering direction for the Digital Workforce tool portfolio, designing deployment strategies across multiple tools and guiding enterprise-scale AI integrations. This senior IC will mentor engineers and shape evaluation standards for secure, scalable digital employee experiences.

You will own architecture across Microsoft Copilot, 365, and automation, partnering with security and vendor teams, while guiding cross-tool

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
6–8 years of relevant experience, with deep expertise in at least two Digital Workforce–relevant domains (digital employee experience, Microsoft 365, automation, or security).
Deep, hands-on expertise in at least two: platform architecture, Microsoft 365/Copilot, automation, or security/compliance integration.
Demonstrated ability to design cross-system architecture and set technical standards without formal people-management authority.
Expert-level Microsoft 365 and Copilot administration knowledge, including governance and access-control design.
Strong track record partnering with Information Security, Vendor Management, and cross-functional stakeholders on complex evaluations.
Mentor to less-senior engineers on architecture and evaluation decisions.

Responsibilities

Design deployment strategies spanning multiple tools and set engineering standards for the Digital Workforce portfolio.
Architect data pipelines and cross-system integrations across digital employee experience platforms, IT service management, and endpoint tooling.
Architect Copilot and Microsoft 365 enablement at enterprise scale with governance and access-control design.
Improve and scale the team’s technical evaluation standards and reference library for AI tools.
Design evaluation frameworks for AI use cases entering the Digital Workforce pipeline and mentor engineers.
Lead threat modeling for the Digital Workforce tool portfolio with security/compliance teams.
Coordinate activities of other Workforce Engineers on cross-tool initiatives with architectural guidance.
Partner with Workforce Experience and Workforce Enablement lanes at checkpoints for evaluation and launch readiness.
