Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking a Staff Workforce Engineer to set architectural direction for the Digital Workforce tool portfolio and drive enterprise-scale Copilot and Microsoft 365 enablement. You will mentor engineers and shape evaluation standards across multiple tools with high autonomy.

The role demands expert knowledge in digital employee experience platforms, automation, and security, with the ability to influence engineering practice and governance across the lane and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience across digital workforce domains such as digital employee experience, automation, or security.
• Demonstrated ability to design cross-system architecture and set technical standards without formal people-management authority.
• Expert-level Microsoft 365 and Copilot administration knowledge, including enterprise governance.

Responsibilities

• Design deployment strategies that span multiple tools and set engineering standards for the Digital Workforce portfolio; manage moderate-complexity projects.
• Architect data pipelines and cross-system integrations spanning digital employee experience platforms and IT service management.
• Architect Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft 365 enablement at enterprise scale with governance and access-control design.
• Improve and scale the team’s evaluation standards and reference library for AI tools with autonomous decision-making.
• Lead threat modeling for the Digital Workforce tool portfolio with Security and Compliance partners.
