Job summary

Gatik is seeking a Staff V&V Systems Lead to architect and govern the Verification & Validation framework for its Level 4 autonomous middle‑mile platform. You will own the VTM, oversee SIL/HIL, track and public road validation, and sign off on driverless updates.

You will lead cross‑functional teams across hardware, software, and field operations, align testing across simulation, HIL bench, track, and fleet deployments, and ensure audit‑ready evidence for regulators and safety boards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading systems verification and validation programs for safety‑critical autonomous systems.
• Mastery of the system V‑model development lifecycle and safety standards (ISO 26262, UL 4600, ISO 21448).
• Proven track record leading release gate sign‑offs for safety‑critical commercial products.
• Experience with Jama/DOORS and test execution tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect and govern the multi‑pillar verification methodology (SIL → HIL → Track → Public Road).
• Own the empirical evidence layer of the safety case (UL 4600 / ISO 26262).
• Build end‑to‑end traceability between safety requirements, mitigations, tests and results (VTM).
• Serve as technical sign‑off authority for driverless software/fleet updates.
• Align testing strategies across Simulation, HIL, Track, and Field Deployment teams.
• Prepare audit‑ready V&V summary packages for internal safety boards and auditors.
