Job summary

The Table Community Foundation in Stockton, CA, is seeking a Staff Support Specialist Trainer. This full-time professional role focuses on training and developing Group Leads across multiple ELOP sites, ensuring safe, engaging afterschool programs.

The position requires strong coaching abilities and collaboration with program staff. You will lead onboarding, provide ongoing professional development, and coordinate trainings while maintaining a professional presence and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 48 college units or passing score on Paraeducator exam.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Group Lead or youth leadership position.
• Familiarity with STOIC, PBIS, and behavioral support strategies.
• Strong communication, training, and presentation skills.
• TB test clearance and DOJ/FBI background check.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary trainer and coach for Group Leads across designated sites.
• Provide onboarding and ongoing professional development aligned with program expectations.
• Train and model STOIC behavior strategies and PBIS systems.
• Monitor performance and give real-time feedback through site visits.
• Lead or co-lead trainings and workshops on youth development, safety, and behavior management.
• Assist Group Leads with daily schedule planning and program implementation.
• Maintain training calendars and site visit schedules without interfering with peak hours.
• Communicate updates to agency coordinators and supervisors with feedback on staff strengths and improvements.
• Identify underperformance and implement SMART goals with the Program Specialist.
• Stay current on district trainings, procedures, and compliance.
