Job summary

California Teaching Fellows Foundation seeks a Site Lead to supervise and coordinate afterschool programs at designated sites, ensuring compliance with licensing and safety standards. You will manage data reporting and collaborate with school personnel to maximize student learning and engagement.

Responsibilities include marketing for enrollment, budgeting, staff development, and maintaining a healthy learning environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older.
• Have obtained a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Completion of 48 college units or passage of an approved exam, if applicable, to meet the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) requirements.
• Proficiency in the English language, including spelling, grammar, and composition; ability to speak multiple languages is recognized as beneficial but not required.
• General understanding of educational standards and the public school system.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and Tuberculosis exam.
• Availability from: 9:30AM to 6:30PM
• Have one year of prior management experience or 1-2 years as a Teaching Fellow.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate afterschool programs with school site administrators and ensure licensing compliance.
• Collect program data and report to State and Federal grant funding bodies.
• Create marketing materials to promote enrollment and track attendance.
• Monitor classrooms, coach staff, and enforce behavioral standards.
• Manage site budget, purchases, and supplies.
• Attend staff trainings and communicate progress with supervisors.
