Job summary

AIMS College Prep Charter District in Oakland, CA, is seeking an Expanded Learning Opportunities Instructor to plan, implement, and supervise engaging activities for students in the ELOP program. Responsibilities include supervising during program hours, coordinating with staff and parents, and ensuring safety and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and/or previous program experience.
• Fingerprinting and TB test required.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate engaging learning activities aligned with program goals.
• Create a safe, inclusive environment for students to learn and thrive.
• Supervise students during program hours and ensure safety.
• Facilitate educational activities, off-site field trips, arts and crafts, sports, and enrichment opportunities.
• Collaborate with staff, school personnel, and parents to assess student needs and progress.
• Maintain attendance, behavior logs, and program documentation.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about progress and events.
• Assist with setup, cleanup, and organization of materials.
• Adhere to policies and safety protocols.
