Job summary

Google is seeking a Staff Technical Solutions Consultant for the GSST team to design secure, scalable solutions at the intersection of frontend interfaces and backend infrastructure, embedding AI and LLMs to accelerate automation.

You will collaborate with end users, stakeholders and peers to translate complex requirements into intuitive tools, delivering measurable ROI while maintaining privacy and security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
• Experience in Python, Go, or other modern backend languages.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using SQL, and managing production infrastructure through compute infrastructure and server platform.
• Experience developing and deploying enterprise solutions leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs).

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary technical authority for the division, partnering with leadership to navigate priorities and align on project directions without direct authority.
• Establish development, configuration management, and testing standards across the organization, mentoring junior team members, overseeing design and code reviews, and ensuring strict compliance with security and privacy policies.
• Design and develop robust full-stack applications that seamlessly integrate with legacy infrastructure, while delivering well-supported data integrations for operational workflows and impactful business reporting through close cross-functional collaboration.
• Own the technical roadmap and strategy to scale and sustain the solutions you deliver through purpose-fit vendor teams.
• Deliver and oversee AI and agentic solutions with focused development, testing, and validation to empower end users and Technical teams with greater efficiency and effectiveness.
