Job summary

Google is seeking a Security Tooling Specialist for the GSST Technical Solutions team to design and deliver secure, scalable tools integrating AI and LLMs. You will bridge frontend interfaces with backend infrastructure, collaborating across teams to turn complex needs into impactful, measurable tools.

You will advance security operations with embedded AI, establish technical roadmaps, and mentor peers in engineering best practices, driving ROI and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent practical experience considered.
• 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
• Experience in Python, Go, or other modern backend languages.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using SQL, and managing production infrastructure through compute infrastructure and server platforms.
• Experience developing and deploying enterprise solutions leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs).

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop robust full-stack applications, partnering with infrastructure and security teams to integrate new software solutions with legacy systems.
• Deliver tools with properly built data integrations for operational flows and reporting through collaboration with the data team.
• Implement embedded AI and Agentic solutions to empower end users with greater efficiency.
• Own the technical roadmap and strategy to scale and sustain the solutions delivered.
• Provide expert technical support for complex use cases while complying with privacy and security standards and advocating best practices.
