Job summary

Google Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Staff Technical Solutions Consultant for the Global Security Systems and Technology team to design secure, scalable security-enabled solutions integrating frontend interfaces with powerful backend infrastructure and AI/LLM technologies.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor peers, and drive an architecture that accelerates automation while upholding privacy and compliance standards, delivering measurable ROI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
• Experience in Python, Go, or other modern backend languages.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using SQL, and managing production infrastructure through compute infrastructure and server platform.
• Experience developing and deploying enterprise solutions leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end projects through informal authority.
• Experience writing and reviewing production-ready code in a distributed environment, with the ability to design, build, and manage complex workflows involving multiple AI agents and human experts.
• Experience navigating competing priorities, communicating complex ideas clearly, and building strong stakeholder partnerships through problem-solving and people management skills.
• Expertly leverage AI agents, LLMs, and advanced prompting to accelerate the journey from concept to functional, production-quality code.
• Deep fluency in modern software engineering principles and rapid prototyping techniques.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary technical authority for the division, proactively partnering with and influencing executive leadership, directors, and cross-functional stakeholders to navigate competing priorities and align on project directions without direct authority.
• Establish development, configuration management, and testing standards across the organization, mentoring junior team members, overseeing design and code reviews, and ensuring strict compliance with security and privacy policies.
• Design and develop robust full-stack applications that seamlessly integrate with legacy infrastructure, while delivering well-supported data integrations for operational workflows and impactful business reporting through close cross-functional collaboration.
• Own the technical roadmap and strategy to scale and sustain the solutions you deliver through purpose-fit vendor teams.
• Deliver and oversee AI and agentic solutions with focused development, testing, and validation to empower end users and Technical teams with greater efficiency and effectiveness.
