Job summary

Google is seeking a Staff Technical Solutions Consultant within the Global Security Systems and Technology (GSST) team in the United States. You will design secure, scalable solutions, act as a technical bridge between frontend interfaces and backend infrastructure, and embed Google’s AI/LLM technologies to accelerate automation while ensuring privacy and compliance.

You will mentor peers and drive best practices across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
• Experience in Python, Go, or other modern backend languages.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using SQL, and managing production infrastructure through compute infrastructure and server platform.
• Experience developing and deploying enterprise solutions leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs).

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary technical authority for the division, partnering with executive leadership and stakeholders to align on project directions without direct authority.
• Establish development, configuration management, and testing standards, mentoring juniors, and ensuring security/privacy policy compliance.
• Design and develop robust full-stack applications that integrate with legacy infrastructure and data integrations for reporting.
• Own the technical roadmap and strategy to scale and sustain delivered solutions.
• Deliver and oversee AI/agentic solutions to empower end users and technical teams.
