Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. in Massachusetts is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager for New Customer Development to lead multiple customer programs from initial contact through part qualification.

You will coordinate with process, quality, subtractive, and manufacturing engineering teams and act as the primary customer interface. You will extract the voice of the customer, define scope, schedule, and risk, manage budgets, and mentor project managers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience managing large, technically complex new product development programs.
• Mastery of manufacturing process qualification procedures (PPAP, IQ/OQ/PQ, capability studies, MSA).
• Leads cross-functional teams including process, manufacturing, quality, and operations.
• Strong external relationships with customers and executive stakeholders.
• Knowledge of AS9100, GMP, FDA QSR, ISO 13485 and GD&T basics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable presenting to executives.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple new customer development programs with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive NCD efforts with the sales director to meet all deliverables.
• Identify risks, accelerate issues, and propose solutions.
• Define program scope, schedule, budget, and risk register; maintain team alignment.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and manage program communication.
• Develop and manage budgets and resource loading for programs.
• Mentor project managers leading programs; plan customer meeting cadence and workshops.
• Travel to customers and suppliers as required.
