HubSpot is seeking a Staff Technical Lead for Marketing Studio Intelligence. This role leads a small team of engineers, shaping backend services that power campaign integrations, measurement, automation, and AI-driven capabilities.

• Experience designing, building, and operating backend systems in production.
• Strong Java development skills and production-grade backend services experience.
• Experience coaching and mentoring engineers and leading small teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead a small team of 2 engineers, setting technical direction and delivering against goals.
• Design, build, and evolve backend services powering campaigns, measurement, and intelligent capabilities.
• Stay hands-on with production Java code and tackle the team’s key technical challenges.
• Lead technical design for integrations between Marketing Studio, HubSpot campaign systems, assets, CRM data, and other platform capabilities.
• Build scalable systems supporting campaign performance reporting, attribution, analytics, and recommendations.
• Shape backend capabilities for AI-powered experiences using campaign context, CRM data, and engagement history.
• Break complex initiatives into clear technical plans and navigate architecture decisions and risks.
• Coach and mentor engineers through reviews and day-to-day guidance.
• Partner with Product and UX to translate customer problems into technical approaches balancing speed and quality.
• Drive alignment across teams when work spans shared services and platform capabilities.
