Job summary

HubSpot is seeking a Staff Technical Lead for Marketing Studio Intelligence in the UK. You will lead a small team of engineers while remaining hands-on, designing and building backend services that power campaign integrations, analytics, and AI-driven capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of 2 engineers, setting technical direction and delivering against goals.
• Design, build, and evolve backend services powering campaigns, measurement, automation, and intelligent capabilities.
• Stay hands-on with development, contributing production-ready Java code.
• Lead technical design for integrations across Marketing Studio, HubSpot systems, and data platforms.
• Build scalable systems for campaign performance reporting, analytics, and recommendations.
• Shape backend capabilities for AI-powered experiences using CRM data and engagement history.
• Translate customer problems into technical plans and guide architecture decisions and risks.
• Coach engineers through reviews and day-to-day guidance.
• Partner with Product and UX to align priorities and ensure quality and long-term health.
