Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff PLT Integration Lead Systems Engineer (level 5) in Roy, UT, supporting the Sentinel program. The role requires strong mechanical engineering background and experience across requirements, architecture, verification, and integration for large-scale programs.

The position includes coordinating with the AF customer and external labs, overseeing subcontract activities, and maturing system design artifacts within a robust defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12 years of experience; or master's degree with 10 years; or PhD with 8 years
• Must be a US Citizen with active DoD Secret Clearance in scope
• Must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance and SAP approval
• 5 years of experience with mechanical design
• 2 years of experience with requirements management/analysis/allocations
• 3 years of Systems Engineering experience

Responsibilities

• Technical oversight of a large subcontract for Payload Reentry System and other projects
• Participate in planning, system integration, verification/validation, cost and risk analyses
• Interface with the AF customer and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with program IPT to develop design artifacts
• Develop and mature architecture content for large programs
• Develop requirements and ensure proper representation in models
• Contribute to system requirements development and management
• Develop unifying modeling techniques and processes
• Develop integration-conops procedures for PRS buildup
