Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an accredited university with 12+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degrees with proportional experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance (or the ability to obtain) is required.
• Experience applying systems engineering across full lifecycle for hardware-intensive/weapon systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware integration during the TMRR phase for complex shipboard assemblies.
• Guide requirements development, allocation, and traceability to match customer and interface specs.
• Review MBSE artifacts in Cameo to align with technical baseline.
• Develop and oversee verification/validation plans and acceptance criteria.
• Plan and execute system and hardware–software integration activities and lab work.
• Perform analyses, trade studies, and risk assessments to support design decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IPTs to ensure producible and supportable designs.
• Review engineering artifacts and provide SME guidance in technical reviews.
• Mentor early-career engineers in engineering best practices.
