Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Huntsville, AL seeks a Sr Staff Systems Engineer to lead the LRHW Hardware IPT Integration & Control for the LRHW program. The role focuses on hardware design, development, testing, and delivery across BOC, TEL, AE and related assets.

The senior lead coordinates with product managers, CAMs, and design teams, driving cost and schedule integration and lifecycle guidance throughout the Systems Engineering lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience with hardware product lifecycle from requirements to delivery.
• Familiarity with DoD Army Ground Systems and Army Missile programs.
• Experience with proposal preparation and negotiation.
• Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
• Must be eligible for DoD Secret Security Clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead PIC activities for the LRHW Hardware IPT handling hardware design, development, test and delivery of LRHW assets.
• Coordinate with multiple IPTs to align hardware plans with program priorities.
• Coordinate daily with product managers, HW design, QA, material/resource planners and program planners.
• Work with CAMs to ensure cost and schedule integration.
• Provide guidance to Hardware Engineering through the full Systems Engineering lifecycle.
• Establish and communicate IPT expectations, goals, roles, responsibilities, and objectives.
• Lead baseline planning, IMS integration, schedule/cost validation and risk management.
