Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, Utah is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer (level 5) to join the Sentinel program. This role emphasizes cyber security, systems engineering, and MBSE in support of DoD initiatives, with the ability to work in an agile team environment.

You will lead technical analyses, ensure requirements traceability, and contribute to design, integration, and testing efforts while presenting solutions to customers and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with significant experience in systems engineering and cybersecurity.
• Active US Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain DoD clearance (Secret/TS) as required.
• Experience using MBSE methods and toolchains for system architecture and requirements traceability.
• Familiarity with NIST/DoD RMF frameworks and security control implementations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a System Engineer with cyber security focus for Sentinel hardware/software.
• Lead design reviews and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure requirements are traceable.
• Develop and assess cyber security controls and risk mitigations in line with NIST/DoD RMF guidance.
• Support system integration, testing, and deployment of Sentinel-related capabilities.
• Present technical solutions to customers and senior leadership.
