Job summary

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
• 5+ years in systems engineering, requirements management, or architecture definition for complex electro-optic hardware.
• Ability to define leveled requirements sets and interface control documents.
• Proven ability to quantify architectural trade-offs and defend decisions.
• Experience with signal-path models (Python or MATLAB).

Responsibilities

• Own OVMM signal-path architecture and maintain internal consistency.
• Translate requirements into subsystem specifications with traceability.
• Define and maintain interface specs between optics, analog, digital and software.
• Lead architecture trade studies and quantify impact on performance, power and complexity.
• Lead requirements reviews and resolve conflicts across teams.
• Mentor engineers in specification discipline and trade-study methods.
