Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Senior Registered Engineer - Structural - Nuclear in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on leading structural design and analysis for hydro and power generation projects, with responsibilities spanning calculations, drawings, and field inspections.

The successful candidate will oversee teams across US and overseas offices, Ensure quality and adherence to BV standards, and manage project scope up to $200M while traveling as required.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
• Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
• Holds an active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR).
• Pre-employment checks may be required by BV.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex structural analyses, calculations, and drawings for hydropower and hydraulic structures.
• Perform site inspections and develop remediation recommendations.
• Lead and supervise engineers and technicians on large projects up to $200M.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage project schedules and budgets.
• Travel to client sites up to 20% as needed.
